These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RingBounty, Inc., a Delaware corporation located at 353 Lexington Avenue, 4th Floor Ste 494, New York, NY 10016 ("RingBounty," "we," "us"), and govern your use of the Foreself mobile app ("Foreself," "the app"). By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Foreself is a performance-rehearsal and visualization tool for everyday high-stakes moments. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, clinical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional care.
If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately (in the US, call or text 988).
Foreself helps you rehearse. It does not promise results. We make no representation that using the app will improve your performance, change the outcome of any event, or produce any particular effect.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Foreself. The app is rated 18+ and is not intended for or directed to anyone under 18.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You can delete your account from Settings in the app. If you cannot open the app, request deletion at https://www.foreself.com/delete-account. We complete web deletion requests within 14 days of verifying that the request comes from the account holder.
Deleting your account removes your profile, rehearsals, and reminders, other than records we are required or permitted to retain as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage billing in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
You agree not to use the app to:
You retain ownership of the moments you describe. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to generate and deliver your sessions and to operate the app.
Sessions are produced with automated systems (including AI language models and text-to-speech) and may contain inaccuracies; use your own judgment.
Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, not by us. Refund requests are handled by the applicable store under its own policies, and we are generally unable to issue refunds directly. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support to request a refund.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RingBounty, Inc. and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and RingBounty, Inc. agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief where appropriate, and you may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.
If you obtained Foreself from the Apple App Store, the following also apply:
If you obtained Foreself from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. These Terms are between you and RingBounty, Inc. only, not Google.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app.
