How to delete your Foreself account

Delete in the app

1. Open the Foreself app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Request deletion on the web

If you’ve uninstalled Foreself (or can’t open it), use this form with the email on your account. We email that address a confirmation link so only the account owner can proceed. After you confirm, we complete deletion within 14 days. We do not delete on an unverified form submission.

1. Enter the email registered to your Foreself account.
2. Submit the form and open the confirmation email we send.
3. Tap Confirm permanent deletion on the linked page.

Data that is deleted

• Account profile and email address
• Rehearsals and transcripts
• Generated scripts and narrated audio (including files in storage)
• Anchors (moments and reminder schedule data)
• Reflections
• Related analytics / crash person records tied to the account (e.g. PostHog, Sentry), where applicable
• Subscription customer record in our payments provider (e.g. RevenueCat), where applicable

Data that is retained

• Billing and transaction records. Tax and accounting purposes. Kept for up to seven years. These records do not include your rehearsal content.
• Limited security and fraud-prevention logs. Kept for up to twelve months. These records do not include your rehearsal content.
